So who am I?

My name is Jess, and I am a trained 3d animation and graphic artist.  However, I currently own a dog kennel and own 11 dogs.  We breed, work and show Newfoundlands.  Which brings me to creating Hand & Paw.  I was frustrated that I couldn’t find a correct breed standard on products.  So, Hand & Paw was born.  It does take me a long time to create all breeds as we research the breed, breed standard and winning show dogs prior to each breeds creation.

I am a professional dog trainer, so from time to time I may talk about or post pictures of dogs I had trained.  You may also pick up on the fact that I feed my dogs a natural diet, meaning a raw diet aka BARF.  So you may find I recommend products that are a little more holistic.

Yes, that is Tonka.  At the time the picture was taken he was 5 months old.  He is a Newfoundland and now weighs approx. 140 lbs at 2 1/2 years old.
